I have a plant that I planted in soil and it's grown to about 7'' but its starting to look bad the bottom leafes turned light yellow. I'm wandering if I can take the plant out of the put and wash off the roots and put it in my hydro system. I fuigure it has a better chance there.
I am attempting the same thing with a seedling about 7 days old. It doesn't look like it has much chance to live but I'll post back with any signs of ressurrection.
I moved it from a container with about a 1 cup of soil to some hydroton being sprayed aeroponically.
I basically lifted the plant up by the dirt itself and slowly sprayed the dirt away with a bottle with ph'd water. Just an experiment to see what would happen.

No, you cannot. The soil comes with a world of bacteria that a low stress transplant could never manage to get all of it off. Just grow it in the soil or start a new in rockwool.
