Im not sure what your thinking here.. but ok Im guessing you have like the waterfarm with hydroton pellets and the air pump that bubbles up water to drip out of a ring right?? so you just dump the water out of the bottom part.. use RO water (i will say that again) Use RO water to fill the system back up by pouring it into the setup thru the hydroton the plant is in and run the bubbler steady for an hour or two (this is the part where you could be using FloraKleen or any other flushing product - I reccomend florakleen).

If you like it cheap and easy you can refill the system with bloom nutes now.

Optional-

Once this is done if I have time I go ahead and repeat using only pure water until I get a very low TDS rise on the flush and I use my TDS meter to verify when the flushing water no longer has rising ppms and then I know the flush is complete. At that time you can refill the system

Flower at about 1ft sounds good to me.

Well when it comes to height, I let sativas go 1 1/2-2 ft. I lie to veg the indicas out 2-3 ft.

Your plants will take off during the veg period(once they get a nice root ball) and youll wanna trim the under growth. I suggest a scrog or some type of LST because growth can become out of control w/ DWC.

The nutes you have will work...but for optimal growth youll want hydroponic nutes.

Flush w/ some sort of cleaning solution (floraleen, clearex) for 5-7 days.

Lets see some pics of the setup!!

same idea as before just easier to flush since there is less media and no circulation of nutes.. just do your flushing by pouring RO water through that little cup and you will be fine.

What do the cleaning solutions do? Are they necessary?

superthrive

this new stuff (hydro nutes) cant read the foriegn header but it says 1-component aarde made by house & garden van de zwaan. its soposed to be VERY good highly recommended by the hydrophonic shop its a basic nutrient 1-200L

also using ATI alga-c for health and desease resistants.

and adding bio-nova "the missing link" bio stimulator

i have 1.4 oz of bud blood ready for when bloming sets

also i have solouable to 100liters of shooting foaming bloom expander made also by house & garden van de zwaan

and i also have a un-labeled 1.4 oz bag of what i think is dr hornby's big bud in powder form.

yep i too was taken by my hydro shop and bought what they reccomended.. first it was dynagro and dynabloom.. waste of money.. then supernatural.. also a waste of money.. and finally I went in and said.. GH 3 part PLEASE.. and have been fine ever since. Advanced should be fine too.

clearing solutions just remove salts from grow media

great info all around...flushing is to remove unwanted elemental salts from your plant!
flushing in a unit like yours has more to do with the plant than the bucket...you merely replace your nutes with water. (once at transition...once before harvest)
If pure water...proceed for 1 week...If water w/florakleen added...proceed 3 days...(note: florakleen is the fastest flushing agent on the market...there are others...such as clearex, and final phase, but florakleen is also what I use to kleen my hydroton between grows)

Get gh 3-part...best price proven great results, and works great with just about all additives.

you know that bud blood only get's used 1st week after transition...Good luck

nothing wrong with growell...Most of us don't use it, but You don't get to be a major nutrient player, If you suck...peace, and goodluck.

Just remember, if you need help, you will have to rely on generic advice when it comes to your nutrients...

his problem is people that ask for advice and then consistently refuse to take it

hey chris this is what i do and for me its ALOT cheeper than buying the hydrofarm like buckets......
just find some company that uses buckets and ask them to save you some (if your worryed about why just tell them to store pet food in so mice dont get it or somthing like that) but anyways then go buy "net pots" for your buckets cut holes according to your net pot size in the lid of your bucket and a lil port for a air line (also you will need a air pump & air stones) and there you have it a extra cheep dutch bubbler (i get my buckets from a ice cream place nice clean food grade buckets :) )

The buckets that dog biskets come in work well and so do laundry soap buckets. Remember that the bucket needs to be light proof. Light in the bucket equals problems in the water,.

dude what the fuck IS your problem?I don't have any problem...I just told you that if growell sucked...then they wouldn't be there for you...dumbass!

I am tired of trying to help you and you mouth off to me

take 3 days off and come back with a better attitude, or I will flush you forever. I was trying to help and I am tired of you cussing me...that's twice this week:mad:
