I know a good one is www.photobucket.com, which lets you upload photos and videos up to 1GB for free 10GB if you pay.

yeah photobucket is good free 1GB and you can uploads photos and videos for free no rude ones allowed though :(!

I just signed up and installed that mediamax XL to make uploads and downloads faster and now when i click on upload single or multiple files nothing happens????

I'd reccomend www.imageshack.us it's a 1.5mb/picture limit.
IT automatically generates imagetags and stuff for you.

Coming second on my list is photobucket.
After that, rapidshare is useful for lots of stuff, it's not direct hosting though

No, I just upload to the web-site. To tell you the truth I havent used that site in a while, it was just in my bookmarks. Things could have changed :p.
