plastic wrap for germination?

just a quick question for you guys. i plan to start my next seeds (after germination/towel method) in container with plastic wrap over until i see a good sprout. doesn't this provide a good greenhouse effect and keep humidity for the little sprouters?

It works good, i did this for a couple of my seedlings and it worked really well - just cut the wrap and tie it to the top with a rubber band. Works really well.
