don't be surprised if you do get tested and be ready to answer personal questions about where you live, what you do for a living and for fun, friends, etc...

i'm one who says give me jail over probation any day!

good luck

A big HELL YA to that one. It's alot easier to get the time done than to have some son of a bitch digging his/her nose in your personal affairs at will.

Have a good one!

this is the second thread about a pilfering little bitch.

If it's for theft, there is a good chance you are going to get tested.

Your charges are only "waived" if you go through probation violation free. Otherwise it's a concept of delayed jail time.

I'd take the jail time for that one too. They'd probably just drop the charges, actually; I highly doubt it's worth their time paying lawyers, a judge, a transcriber, guards, and a jury for a shoplifting charge. And after all that, even if they won, then they'd have to pay for your shelter, your guards and your food until your sentence is up. Is the gubment gonna spend ten grand to prosecute someone for a little shoplifting? Doubtful.

I'm confused... If you commit theft, do you go to prison, or stay in the county jail? I thought prison was horrifying???

Depends on the degree.

Prison anywhere just sucks. I think holding cells are far worse in terms of feeling. At least when you spend some time there for a while, you can watch TV and shit. Not in a holding cell. It's being locked in a room without a clock or anything. You have no idea how time flies. How long you are going to be there. Those 2 unknowns want to make you just scream.
