This is just a note to all you who are getting ready to order from the Doc.
Their service can't be beat but sometimes the seeds they sell are worthless.
This is not the fault of Dr Chronic but of the breeder, in this case it was KC Brains and the strain was their Northern Lights.
It comes in the breader envelope so you don't see the seeds till you rip open the outer envelope to get to the ziplock. These seeds were obviously all immature seed. I've seen enough of them to know good from bad. Not one of these seeds were brown or even blond which I've had before.
I germinated 4 different verieties for this grow and every seed popped, including my 3 year old Kali Mist seeds which had been in storage, except the Northern Lights. None of those popped even after an extended germination period.
This is the first time I've ever gotten a complete set of 10 seeds that not one germinated. Actually with all the seeds I've germinateded over the years I average well into the high 90% range for sucessful germinating.
This was an entire pack that did nothing. I'd be embarrassed, as a breeder, to even offer them for sale, but then I suppose they don't consider possible return business. Too many good breeders out there to fool with one who will sell you immature seeds.
I am a bit dissapointed with Dr Chronic however. I know they don't replace seeds that are missing in the mail because once it's out of their hands it's not their responsibility any longer, but to take money for entire packs of bad seed and not even offer a replacement when they don't germ is another matter altogether.
It's difficult enough these days to grow and order seed and keep some kind of piece of mind when it comes to security. Don't need to be adding more stress to the situation by selling junk seed.
I'd recommend ordering from Dr Chronic any day of the week, just don't order any of KC Brains seed... at least the Northern Lights.
