ya i just though i'd make a post about a new type of marijuana strain that will hopefully attract some smokers to grow. the reason being because this strain is the most easilly concealed, shortest, yet still producing a good yield of bud mj plant out there. it's called LOWRYDER. i'm sure many growers know this strain but that doesn't mean everyone has by the way :thumbsup: .

the concept: this strain of marijuana grows and flowers at an average 60 days, and averaging in at about 12" tall. they also yield up to 45 grams of bud under the right light, nutrients, ventilation, ect...

i'm relatively new to growing, and have become very involved with it since I first discovered these guys. just know what you're getting yourself into. you can't just plant in a pot and put in on your dresser. if you actually want to successfully grow and smoke lowryders, read this 5 min. guide:

Perfect for a closet grow op. You'd need less light, less water, and less space. It's perfect for anyone who wants to grow just one tiny plant for personal use.

In Holland and Germany, Lowryder is considered a total waste for indoor growing. It's cool for outdoors, but a waste of good electricity and equipment when looking for quality or yield.

You've been very mis-informed.

I have grown a few of these and the smoke is surprisingly strong.

The smells also very nice too.

Not very potent and does not yeild 45g's. I would say 14-28g is average and anytjing over that and your lucky. They also usualy grow 18-24 inches not 12 inches.

I have not actualy grown LowRyder myself but have looked into it and have had a friend grow it in a PC planter. I have also never smoked it personaly but most autoflower strians are not potent compared to other strains. I would suggest a White Widdow SCROG for indoor. Outdoor the lowryder/masterkush for better potency.

Not the most potent smoke, but still a pleasure and nothing to frown at.

I've grown Lowryder 3 times in one summer season! And I'm talking Canada weather here.

LR is a complete waste of time to do indoors. You can control lighting and feeding when inside, but this plant requires hardly any care.

From seed to harvest, it took me only 60days. The first batch I started indoors and at 20days old, I moved outside in early April. and I had a harvest by the end of May.

Second batch I started in at the end of May., same time as I harvested the first batch, and i had another harvest at mid-Sept., then I planted one more batch mid-Sept., and had to finish it inside and harvested at the beginning of Nov.

The nice thing about them, is that they are autoflowering and will flower under any condition of light. Even under 24hrs of straight light.

The bad thing is, is the low yeilds. No more than 16g's per. plant, unless you use indoor SCrog, which I don't recommend using this strain for.

It is a Ruderalis cross, which is known for the less potent smoke. Use LR for outdoors and save the good shit for indoors, as growing outdoors, can have many complications.

Oh yeah, you can grow any plant of any strain and keep it short.

Look below at my pictures of Manatuska Tunderfuck. No more than 1.5ft in height. Shorter veg. time does this, and topping too.

what would be the best plant to grow with that is small enough to grow in a closet inside? you guys said this grew taller than 12" and it had less potent smoke and only 16g yield usually.

who said 18-24 inches? i don't think so...you said you haven't grown anyway, there are a few kinds of lowryder, but the ones you can buy on my links def. grow smaller. but ya if you grow in bad conditions you will only get so many grams.

Lowryder females usually grow no taller than 16-20 inches. 12-16 inches is typical. Light intensity, pot size, and proper pH all play an important role in determining the size of plants at maturity â?? the better the conditions, the bigger the yield. Plants produce one main cola, although when they receive adequate light, lower nodes branch out profusely.

Yield and height are dependent on obvious growth factors. For example, plants kept in small peat cups on a windowsill may yield as little as 1 g. and grow no taller than 6 inches, with no branching whatsoever; while a plant in a 4-gallon container under high-intensity lighting and good cultivation methods, can turn into a profusely branched, two-foot wide 45-gram bud monster.
