View Full Version : Indie Fans
My mate used to be the bass player in this band but he left in the end, but there still good, i think they still got samples to download on their site, pretty good.
They were signed, not sure if they still are though.

i like indie rock. what kind of indie do you listen to? from what time frame? i am a big fan of the smiths, and one can consider them indie (they used to be "indie"--in some circles). i dont even know what "indie" is anymore though. last time i was into that scene, people were listening to the dandy warhols, le tigre, and a variety of other good bands.. i guess people would argue what indie is or what it isn't but frankly i don't care.
i like crass too. they were about as independant as it gets, albeit a little bit "out there" :)

Oh, hell yes. Their double album, "Christ", is an all time favorite!

All I know about Crass is that intro from a Turbonegro song...."Oi, ello Patran, its Steve Ingren from Crass" blah blah blah you owe me money and ill fucking collect asshole! and yeah the spelling is horrible. whatever.

i was such a crass kid back in high school. i like the art collages by gee voucher (aka ge-sus). I used to have a movie called "Semi-Detached" and it had the shaved woman video collage, reality whitewash, the entire Yes Sir I Will... it was really crazy stuff; very interesting and it makes a profound point.
i also like death cab. and i like the mars volta, but i'm not sure if you could consider the mars volta indie. but the guitarist is pretty good.
