leaves in the buds...

just wondering if i am suposed to be directing the light at the buds or the leaves?

All over the plant. The leaves need it to make energy to produce buds, and the buds need it for growing...

i can pull leaves out of the way, but theyre surface area wont be that great anymore.

Which has more priority? the leaves or the flowers?

those leafs are there for a reason Lip is correct leave them be no
clipping during flowering please, your plants will love you for that.
