Just curious if its a good idea to mix high nitrogen bat guano in with a soil mix with no added nutes before planting?

MY SOIL MIX IS: 1 PART PEAT,(4 cubic foot bags), 1 PART PERALITE,
AND 1 CUP BAT GUANO. MIX WELL.

MOISTEN IN CONTANER BEFORE PLANTING PLANT.

WORKS WONDERS FOR ME.

GOOD LUCK

In answer to your question, YES DEFINATLY!! It'll give the plant nutrients for its whole life, but you will need to eventually feed it more nutrients so it lives up to standards

As it is organic, it probably woulnd't hurt....

But it really isn't needed if you have good soil to begin with.

By the time the plant is mature enuff to benefit from it, a lot of the good stuff will have been washed out the bottom of the container long before it can acutally use it. Assuming you water properly.

Want a better way?

Add a cup of veggie based dry dog food and a few hand fulls of hair to your soil mix.

By the time the plant is mature enuff to need some goodies, the above mixture will have broken down into basic aminos / minerals the plant will use.

WOrks wonders on flowers.
