I wont pay more then 40 but I have seen people selling name brand bud (White Widdow, AK-47, Skunk ect. for 45 but they just slap on a name to get more for there weed)

I say 35 is fair and thats whatI sell my 1/8's for. If your going through a middle man then expect to pay 45 or get pinched. If its your first time buyng from a dealer hes going to short you so if you have a scale then bring it if not take the hit and just keep buying from the same person till he decides your a good customer and starts hokking up your bags with an extra .2 here and there.

although if you are a good customer you get more, my guy always drops me an extra quarter. And after a Z you start to get hella freebies depending on your guy; if i want it a .5lb is 600$ although, i have never and prolly will never get that much. And also its hard to find a good dealer that will sell you anything thats worth anything for less than a quarter.

no, you can find decent shit here but with the restrictions and prices the way they are here we by no means have anything in the way of the quality you can find in other places around the world. And by far the most important thing is, saying you have bomb weed is like saying you have a 23 inch dick. Modesty is important because no matter how good the shit you have is, there is always better. Outside of jack of course, which is why i said homegrown, if grown by the right person has the potential within the states. Most people who have that are gonna keep it though or just sell it to a select few. BTW my roomate is from cali, he likes our dealer right now better than any previous contact he ever had. But again, i am going only off of what i've heard from others when it comes to that, i am happy with what i have, but i will never brag about it.

Generally, mids are $5 a gram, hydro is $10 a gram, and "brand name" weed (sometimes a lie though) can go anywhere from $15-25 a gram. Prices tend to scale to less when you buy large amounts at once.

Ok angel, truce. I understand what your saying and for the record I never cared about the size issue. True, no strain is exclusive to Cali. I think the only thing about Cali weed is that, especially since Californians voted to legalize medical marijuana, LE here is so lax in there anti-weed efforts and penalties are pretty low even if your caught, growers tend to take more time and care with their crops. Plus you've got the whole California hippy organic thing going on so your less likely to get some harsh weed loaded with nutes. So, in reality, the quality of the weed out here has less to do with any specific strain and more to do with politics and the opinions of the general population. Obviously you're going to get better weed somewhere where the local sherrif has a Dead sticker on his car and your neighbors don't give a damn what you're growing as long as you share;)

Anyhow, this thread got way off topic. So, to get it back on, prices here in the San Francisco Bay Area are anywhere from 45-60 an 1/8th depending on who you know and what strain you get.

Honestly you have no idea what you are talking about. There are all sorts of "growers hybrids" that are very exclusive. We are talking about low yeilding, high quality hybrids/supermanseeds or rare phenotypes that someone who grows alot of plants stumbles across. Trust me when I tell you these types of plants are not shared alot, they never will make it to the commercial market, but they are nonetheless out there. There is one rare pheno of CherryAK that will blow your mind. The guy I got the seeds from said if I get one I have to give him a clone...said I would know it if I had one.

dude your barking up the wrong tree, ive been in cochran for 3 years and am now moving to carrollton, i like my dealer and his product a lot, never had someone else smoke it who wasn't satisified, and most ask me to get it for them, but i will never elevate it to the level of calling it bomb weed because.. There is always better, again it is good to practice modesty, and also i was pissed at the guy(not Fengzi, the other guy saying his shit was sooo much better than everyone elses) and let my mouth fly a bit, it wasn't the right thing to do.
