Hi Ya'll
Attached are a few photos of my babies. The seeds came from the plant in my profile pic. Supposed to be lowryders? Anyway, Believe it or not these plants are a couple months old. They were originally outdoor plants and were doing great for a week or so then growth stopped. The soil rotted due to poor draining so I have since repotted (last week) and moved them indoors. I have a 100HPS and growlux lumo's They improved a lot and started to smell great since then but are now starting to droop. I wait to water until it is relatively dry 2 inches down. I was using distilled water but have read that is bad? the nutes I have are a 10-10-10, but haven't used anything since repotting as they were seeming to thrive on the nutes in the soil... They are staying alive and getting stinky, but growth is slow, slow slow and now droopy... I don't have anything to measure ph, as my pocketnook is tight tight.. I have put a lot of energy into these and want them to gain back the speed they once had. Also, I still cannot tell the sex...maybe I am not looking hard enough or would it still be too early to tell?? BTW I am a first time grower Obviously...
So any help would be appreciated!!

If they are a couple months old they are not lowryders... cant tell sex until they begin flowering.

Did you mix any peat or perlite with the soil? It also looks mighty wet, could you be over watering them? PH levels of the water?

I'm going to move this to Basic Growing for ya........there's alot of good folks there that may be able to help ya.

Have a good grow!

no peat or pearlite.... I had just watered when I took them so I usually wait till it is dry two inches deep

What's the temp in the room? If it is high it could just be drying out
the top soil faster while still having a lot of moisture deeper in the
soil and you are adding water to plants that don't need it yet.

It could just be a heat issue.

Got a fan and or some kind of ventilation?

yeah I have a fan in there blowing...the temp ranges between 80-92 degrees... where I live it is very very hot...so that is relatively cool in a closet.... so it looks like over watering? Any ideas on why they are still so small after a couple of months?

Id say something has stunted their growth root problems
being the most likely. I think i saw you were using 10-10-10
plant food you might want to up the nitro 20-20-20 is a good
balance for vegetive growth. Just don't burn em up.

just move it outside for a bit and nature will fix everything... ;)
thats how i got my tomato plants to start getting bushy. =D

what would you recommend for good nutes on a budget. Simpler the better.... Will they begin to grow at normal rate again?

I don't get good enough sun light where I am....almost all shade minus 2 hours a day.. bad positioning on my balcony

"Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

Cellophane flowers of yellow and green,
Towering over your head.
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes,
And she's gone."

mmmmmmm

And about those plants...when a long enough period of days has gone by without seeing any sort of change in the development or growth of a plant...something is not right. Waiting X more days for some sort of turn around when no altering the environment has occured is...wastful.

If they've been hanging in there that long...get them each transplanted to something more. Anything more. Preferably 3-7 gallons more. Get them under some real light. Putting them out doors would be good...BUT only if they are SHADED and blasted all to hell with being exposed to direct sunlight too soon.

However...a good 6000K + CFL or two, will zap some energy into them, and be safer than outdoors too.

Good source of nutes for someone on a budget...is to start out with a quality organic soil mix. It may seem like much at $15-20 for for varied sorts and sizes at varied prices. You'll spend more on good nutes alone than anything else that goes into the mix combined or the price of a no-shit worth every penny quality organic ready to plant mix. The nutrient level already present in the mix is plenty to sustain early growth. Or in this case, growth at all.

I'm feeling an ice cream sandwich headed my way.

yes I actually just replanted them and put them into the new grow room a week ago. they seemed to be growing a bit better and becoming greener but now drooping and developing holes on the top of one of the leaves but can see no bugs... I used neem a bit over a week ago as well. I just want to make sure that they will do alright with 100HPS and 4w growlux's.... I hope the roots will recover and I will wait a bit in between watering to make sure I am not over watering... NEXT QUESTION...
water.... On a budget again, obviously, strips or something to measure PH for soil and water.... where at what do I get?
Thanks so much!

Stop wasting bandwidth, same question..... one post is enough. You stand more of a chance getting no answer by double posting than you do with a single post. Chill......

I think your plants caught your stressing vibes my friend.

LOL

Read read read and then read some more on nutrients lighting
and cannabis in-general get to know your plants and what they
like.....you will see improvements in your grows after you do this.

It sounds like it just needed more drainage.
It shuld speed right back up if it was that.
Otherwise it may have been the heat wave that slowed things down.
