Is most likely a Polystirex form of whatever compound is involved. Which means a longer dose ranging from 8 to 16 hours longer of delivery.

Not sure about dextromethorphan polistrex, but dextromethorphan hydrobromide is just DXM in the acidic form. The hydrobromide is not actually a part of the DXM chemical, but is a type of acid. The only thing that might change is the DXM gets an extra proton from the acid and becomes acidic.
