I'm just wondering if I am allowed to "Sell my signature"(auction?) with a service like http://www.sigbay.com - as long as it doesn't break your rules right? like, they can put a link in my signature, but it can't be kiddie porn or anything like that right?

Advertisements to any other commerecial sites are frowned upon I believe.

Besides, that is the gayest marketing tactic ever. You gotta figure that most times, you can find listings just by googling what you're looking for or searching on e-bay. That and people like me turn off the ability to see others signatures for just that very reason.

What the fuck...
can't hurt trying...the worst that'll happen is you'll get banned but if all you signed up for was for the mercenary end of it then it won't matter anyway!

Just sell tattoo space on your body. That way you'll only annoy the people who have to endure looking at you.

I could see wanting to promote your own services like free lance design work, or photogrophy or something like that. Being an ad gateway for another company is quite gay indeed. I know that if I made custom pipes, or computers or something I was directly involved in, I'd like to show it off in my sig. At least that's my take on it.

Damn I just read the sigbay links and that's not cool. Just another company that's gonna end up ruining the message board experience. Reminds me of that kid in school that would do something stupid and fuck up the fun for everyone.

Just wondering but do you put Have a good one! personally every time or do you have some special mod magic to make it do it above the line for you?
it just always seemed kind of wierd to me I guess, You can go from talking about someone being a rule-breaking jerk to Have A good one!
didnt you know, this place in run by hypocrites. they can make money off of ads but you cant. i like a lot of the site so i will keep coming back until i am banned but the mods seem like hypocrites, in the way that when the new ownership took over they started tp prohibit ads in sigs but started to put more ads on the site. that is in fact a text book example of hypcrisy.

And this post is a text book example of being the fool. Why would you log onto a site and post bullshit like this well knowing what would happen?
Oh well, you have a month to find a jaws of life to pull your head out of your ass.
Good luck and as always..........

Do you get banned if you insult the website or staff in any way or something? This isn't meant in an insulting way or anything, I'm really just curious what exactly suhl did.
Number one there are no personal attacks allowed on the board.
Number two he acted the fool just a week ago and got banned now he comes back in a rage posting this crap in several threads.
Number three we really don't need that crap here. Very few other sites would allow it, why should we.

But there are plenty of personal attacks taking place on the board and people generally don't seem to get banned for it (take 'fake blunt kid' or ethsfreshman for example). Whenever I see anyone make the slightest negative comment towards a mod though, they get banned. Once again, I'm actually just asking questions here and I'm not trying to bad-mouth you guys. I just wanna know what's up with that.
Well, with the amount of posts/threads there is just so much we can catch or moderate. The reference you brought up is the reason for his first ban, there was a thread where he (ethsfreshman) was getting flamed and I told the crew to mellow it our or else....I'll be damned if two posts later he did the same crap. Now he comes back with a hard on? If you don't like it here why waste the time? I don't get it........but why let someone spam the board being nothing but a buzz kill?
Hey, no big deal asking a question. Like an old teacher once told us, "the only dumb question is the one you didn't ask".
Have a good one!
