Ok well, tonight is a big night. My girlfriend is going to come stay here and for the first time ever, in her 22 years, get high. We're going to munch the rest of my brownies (hopefull she'll get high). However, I was thinking of using this time to also let it be known that I smoke pot. She knows I used to smoke, and that I started smoking again this last semester, but not that I still do. I don't have to tell her that I hid that I kept smoking, but I'd at least like to let her know. She already said she doesn't mind, just as long as it stays only on the bud-level. Though, this is still somewhat difficult for me to decide.

Now, tonight when she's here and stoned I'd like to pull out my bong and just be like "look...I started smoking again, once you said you'd try these brownies I figured it would be a good time to let you know since you've begun to experience it and see its not a big deal." Then get her to toke the nugs I got last night.

What do you guys think? Any experiences? Any advice?

Just tell her, what's the big deal? She's going to have pot brownies, smoking it is no worse or better. Besides, if you don't tell her, you'll be in-effect lying for the rest of your relationship with her. Not worth the stress. I told my wife and all I got was, "Don't smoke it inside!".

If she wants to be with you then she will understand. Most girl friends do unless they are anti-pot all the way. So, just tell her about you smoking, pull out the bong and weed, and toke up with her. I've never gotten anyone high for the first time before either, but I'd like to make this a very memborable experience for her. What should I do to make sure it'll be comfy? She doesn't enjoy my type of music, but I do have tons of Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, Phish music/DVDs we could enjoy (hopefully she'll get to the point where it all sounds goovy haha). I've got soda and munchies.

Anything else? Keep it dim? Anything else to maybe ease her into it?

I've always heard of people not getting high the first time they smoke, but is it likely that will happen with brownies?

She'll get pretty fucking blazed if she's eating brownies for her first time. The problem with first timers is that they don't know how to inhale properly, so they don't usually get high as a result of that. I smoked up one of my friends for his first time. The kid didn't know how to smoke, but in a good way. He chiefed the whole fucking bowl into a single, massive bong rip. I've never seen so much smoke come out of someone's mouth. He was coughing for twenty minutes haha. Also, he got really, really, really fucking high.

Honestly, you might want to suggest she smoke it instead. If she's never been high before, the brownie high might be a little intense.

Regarding you telling her you still smoke. I'd probably tell her when your sober. From what it sounds like, she won't care, but why risk ruining the mood when you're both high.

She wasn't liking the idea of having to wait to eat (as she would with a brownie). So, I put on some music and showed her how to use the bong properly. Then loaded her up a bowl and told her to take 2-3 hits at her own pace, then she could see if she needed/wanted more. Started eating our pizza after that, and she just looked at me and gave me this huge child-like smile and giggled at me. I immediately cracked up, I knew it had hit her. She kept forgetting what she was talking about, where she put things, saying that she could "feel her face," and "felt really happy." She only made it 2.5 hours before just falling asleep :)

Overall she said she had a good time. If she wants to do it again (which I am not going to ask her) then great! If not, I'm glad she decided to try the experience.
