Red leaves

I have 3 plants - one of them indica and unlike it's 2 companions, the leaves often turn a beautiful - and scary red tint. What are the possible causes?

I'd say you made the poor thing think it's late fall ...

Perhaps, but it goes back and forth between a deep rich green and red..
Any other ideas?

What's the strain? There are a couple real reddish ones.

SA, I wish I knew..this is the 3rd generation I've had..it was passed on by a friend who also doesn't know. Very skunky though.

It might just be a stylin' plant, too.
