What does everyone think of them? I use mine all the time, and it travels where I go. I know a lot of you love glass on here, but I'm a fan of metal. I like the fact you can pack a bowl for later, cap it, then hit it whenever. Sorry for the dumb post, I'm a little buzzed right now and it just came to mind, lol.

i only smoke out of metal, i love metal, but be careful here everyone will attempt to convince you to use glass over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over

get the point?

you cant hurl your glass piece across the room and leave it intact tho haha

i stay hittin the metal bowls....theres a constant rotation i have going
buy metal bowl, smoke it for a few months, cops take it or rents take it, buy a new metal bowl and so on and so on
love em

used to love packin a bowl and screwing the top on but i needed to pack the fattest bowls possible to get high so i got the threads all resinated and cant screw it on anymore..meh

drop your bowls into a 20oz bottle and fill it half way with 70% rubbing alcahol and add about a cup of salt, close the lid shake it for a minute or two, pull your bowls out and rinse them off and enjoy your newish looking bowls:thumbsup: it only costs about a buck to do this and you can thouroughly clean upwards of 30 pipe pieces at a time this way.

smoking resin is alright but if youcan afford fresh green all the time a clean piece always hits easier...

i dont notice a difference in taste or anything else... so i never had a problem with the fact that theyre metal. i just really prefer to have a carb, and most metal bowls dont have one.

that is a good point. BUT, I had a metal bowl that had a carb on it. It was an elbow piece that had a bowl on the top and a one hitter on the end. You could use to one hitter as it was, or switch it and cap the bowl and use it as a carb for one hitter. I traded that piece to my buddy for a regular elbow cause my bowl didn't really need a carb. But yeah, it was really cool.

nope sorry, bad to injest rubbing alcahol in any way, if that is your goal use vodka and evaporate it over a couple of days, but check it every 8-10 hours and dont let it dry out all the way, it stillneeds tobe a little sticky, or check the sticky post in the recreational forum here http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=63538

my first pipe ws just a basic metal pipe, bought it form a fair, i loved that thing

theres new glass blowing techniques that can make a glass pipe survive drops onto pavement easily

a little costly though, so i just buy normal glass and be careful with it

but i use to have a metal one hitter that was industructable and i must have smoked close to a half pound out of the damn thing for the year i had it

i love metal pipes. I dont really like Glass because i hate when you are smoking out a spoon and you get to the end of the weed and you suck the ash in your mouth and get poop tooth.

I like em cause you can take most apart and clean them really easily, but they tend to get a little hot sometimes, and like people have said you can pack a bowl for later. Also, this is neither a pro or con, but you use screens, so you can rarely get that leaf hitting your throat. Problem is you gotta buy screens... but they're only like $3 for a million.

i like emm both, they both have ups and downs... theres ways to fix a metal pipe so that it dosent get so hot, but you cant fix a glass pipe after a 4 foot drop. so... i like em both.

I am also with all of the Metal pipe lover's. I have had my same piece for a couple of year's now and like someone above said it travels with me. I can pack a bowl for when ever and throw it in my "lighter pocket" and hit it anytime the chance comes up. They are industructable and mine comes apart in 5 different pieces so it's really easy to clean. I vote metal!! peace

I like metal pipes.. got 2 of em, tho sometimes they DO get too hot, and I get my lips or fingers burnt (from uncapping/capping or loading/dumping)
I don't enjoy using my glass pipe very often cuz the screen doesn't stay in it after each use.. it'll just fall out if I put it in my pocket

Hey man you dont need a screen in a glass bowl, use it for awhile and all the ash gets stuck to the resin inside and nothing sucks through.

hmm.. I find that a waste of weed, when I use my glass pipe I usually end up dumping black charred weed out.. not grey ash

ehh....im too much of a glass freak to say anything else. but i will say this, someones gotta smoke outta metal right? its not too popular in california but i think east coast stoners are all about metal shit ive heard. and hey if you can keep that shit clean, or dont mind hittin resin, then go for it. i just think glass cleans, hits, and looks better than metal. but hey were all different. props to all you guys that burn your lips on metal so i dont have too haha.

eh.. i've never had a problem with burning my lips. And ive never broke a piece either. But hey everyone has different agendas, thats what makes stoners a diverse and wonderful bunch of people. When its all legal, east and west can meet in the middle and smoke the longest celabatory toke ever, you can try my pipe then man, maybe you'll like it.

This thing is all steel/aluminum/brass with a few rubber seals. The pictures don't do it justice because you don't see what makes it so special. (the stem that runs down through the piece)
- Zero overall heat gain (the only part that gains ANY heat is the bowl which is insulated from the rest of the piece through rubber and water)
- Fingertip carb (index finger naturally rests on carb)
- Extremely ergonomic (just hold it like a gun)
- Liquid filter (with rubber seals it’s watertight, add about an ounce of water, instant bubbler)
- Unbreakable (within reason of course)
- Portable (fits easily in my pocket, water empties and fills in a matter of seconds)
- Accidentally color coded (I’m not complaining, I think it looks cool)
- Ability to change flavor (pretty much anything can be used to filter w/o much waste due to the small reservoir size)
- Dry storage chamber (at mouthpiece, resonate while having more for later!)
-Smooth, concentrated hits (cools smoke very well, despite the small capacity filter, while still allowing optimal draw)

Now I’m sorry if I made this thing sound like Jesus took a shit on my lawn, but I am really excited about how well this design worked out. All of the cons associated with metal have been fixed with this thing (with the exception of taste, but I don’t mind the taste so I don’t consider it a con)

Let me know what you think.

That pipes sick. How much did you shell out to build it?

That pipes sick. How much did you shell out to build it?

pipe set $20
brass t $3
brass coupler <$1
downpipe is off a previous pipe $10

so all together a new one would cost ~$35 although tons of the other parts not used do get used in other places so that price isn't really relative on the parts used i would say its more like ~$20
