I just tested the run off water and the tested it and it was real low. Now, my question is this: Since my soil is real acidic(4.0-5) do I just make the nutriented water higher? What should it be to correct this problem?

Please someone respond. Do I just make the nuted water higher to adjust the ph? My 2 other plants are in the 6.0-7.0 range. They are doing good. My indica just started growing branches so I want to do a good job.

what you need to do is get some dolomite lime, they sell it at home depot, lowes.add it as a top dressing.2 tablspoons per gollon of soil mix it with the top layer of soil.also the low ph is causing your mag def.when you water the dolomite lime in add a teaspoon of epsom salt per gallon of water.good luck

What is dolomite lime used for normally? called a place like HD, but they dont carry it. There is no HD or lowes near me unless I want to drive 120 miles. I am in a city that sucks. Any other alternatives? Anyone????

the lime stabilizes your ph.sometimes it is called garden lime.if you can get the lime just sprinkle 2 tablespoons per gallon of soil on top and mix it in theb dirt, then water it in with the mixture of epsom salt.

Yeah, they know it as garden lime. Gonna go try to get sum. So if I add 2 tbsp per gal of soil, do I sprinkle it on top of soil, then water with epsom water?

 Well I am a little upset that I cant get what I need in this small ass town. So heres what I did: I made my batch of nuted water, checked ph and adjusted to 7.0-7.5. I then gave my Indica(ph of 4.5) about 300ml. will this raise the level of the soils ph or did I just ruin it?
 I am buying my new nutes next week for sure. Fox farm grow big, tiger bloom, big bloom. Might try cha-ching during flowering also and sum of thier soil as well and mix it Perlite.

without the lime you are going to be chasing ph problems

Just add baking soda to lower it, or vinagar to raise it.
They work fine. Although i'd double-check on that, because i'm not 100% positive which raises what and what lowers what. Lol. But it does work.

Are you talking about adding vinegar to the soil then add epsom salted water? How much vinegar per gallon? My pot is about 2 gal-3gal. Can you tell me step by step please. I am going to call monday to the other 2 stores. I believe 1 of them will have them. Otherwise I guess I'll check the net.

MSCABOO- I am going to get the garden lime at 4pm and you said "the lime stabilizes your ph.sometimes it is called garden lime.if you can get the lime just sprinkle 2 tablespoons per gallon of soil on top and mix it in the dirt, then water it in with the mixture of epsom salt" ; what ph level will this bring it too? Should I test the soil level in a couple of days to see where the ph is at?
