is there a certain amount of time that plants should b in veg..like plants have a flower time, do they have a veg time...or is it pretty much up 2 tha grower? lets say i have a 400w MH for veg...and vegged for like 3-4 or wks...would that b ok...i vegged 4 in 6 wks and 3 in 4wks wit only 2 40w flour which i know isnt enough light or time in veg wit that small amount of light, rite? next grow wil b much better....will have 400w mh and 400-600w hps, plus all the otha good stuff......they look aite for the amount of light and time in veg, and jus wanted to c if i would have had(or when i get) that MH, it would b ok to jus veg for like 3-4 wks..? thnx o 1 more thing...they stopped growin like 1-2 wks ago, didnt even double in size, but im guessin from 1. the amount of light, but more likely 2. the size of the pots...the pots r only 6" in diameter, (bout 1/2 gal. pots) i know they should b more like 2-3 gal, but that is all i could get at the time, so my ? iz, would it make a difference if i transplanted them into bigger pots, or jus let em go...they r in like 40 days of flowering. is it ok to use those big metal coffee can, or would that cause some kind of rust problem? thnx sry so much ????
