Me and the boyfriend recently bought empty filter cigarettes and a cigarette loader. (200 strawberry flavored cigarettes for 4 bucks..and the loader was only 8)We got our 4 chambered grinder (yay for keif!), ground some, loaded it up, and smoked them. They're pretty cool if you want to carry them around without suspicion, but the papers burn like cigarette paper and the size only makes them ideal for one person. Have any of you tried it and if so, what do you think?

i think the filter would catch the THC and other active cannabinoids...

They seemed to work well enough, we were both decently high, but not as much as if we shared a king sized rolling paper
also, it burned much faster... We could try tearing off the filters and see if it makes a difference

alls i do is tear off the edge of a business card or something alike, then roll it up and stick it in the end of the j. then it expands itself and makes for a wonderful mouthpiece that doesnt block out the chemicals in the smoke that i want. i dont know if filters block out thc but i would suspect they do at least a little

yeah a cigarette filter will most definately waste thc
Surprisingly, the unfiltered joint outperformed all devices except the vaporizers, with a ratio of about 1 part cannabinoids to 13 parts tar. This disturbingly poor ratio may be explained by the low potency of the NIDA-supplied marijuana used in the study, which was around 2.3%.
Disappointingly, waterpipes performed uniformly worse than the unfiltered joint. The least bad waterpipe, the bong, produced 30% more tar per cannabinoids than the unfiltered joint. Ironically, the pipe with the electric mixer scored by far the worst of any device. This suggests that water filtration is actually counterproductive, apparently because water tends to absorb THC more readily than noxious tars. Like the waterpipes, the cigarette filter also performed worse than the unfiltered joint, by about 30%. Researchers speculate this is because cannabinoids are exceptionally sticky and adhere to other solids. Hence, any filtration system that picks up particulates is likely also to screen out cannabinoids.

if you havn't smoke out your brains out, id reccomend reading this. will really make you reconsider water pieces. i think that a chillum gives you the best "high per weed" but that's just me.

naturally...
I tried it once when I couldn't find any papers and didn't have any money, and i ended up really regretting it...

And how the fuck do you smoke a chillum the traditional way with one person?
Pass it right to yourself!

good info man...
for some reason i like sticking to pipes and joints more than waterpipes because the high seems a little more chill. whenever a bong is around im usually with a lot of people which makes me kinda tense, and then you have to worry about dropping it, spilling it, sucking in the bowl, and shit that keeps my high from being completely care-free.

I call a cannabis cigarette a joint, it'll catch on one day.

well here we go, i gotto agree the filter probably does soak up the thc, we tried it a couple times cuz we noticed it was hitting us, so we figured it all was but yeah, rip off the filter after you pack it. That surprises me about the water, because THC is oil soluble, not water soluble, I'm not exactly sure how water would absorb THC, its specifically NOT meant to solute in water, which is why it takes so long to kick out of the system...interesting though
I've done the little piece of cardboard at the tip of the joint for a mouthpiece and i think it works great (mostly though, i use it so little flakes don't fall out after rolling it up)
Anyway, I will say that smoking from a bong is a different high, that could very well be due to the water filtration.
And yeah, blunts ARE the best way to get high, I think part of it is that smoking thc with tobacco will cause the thc to synergize with the tobacco and all of it makes for good smoking then. The only problem is they're draining on your smoke, and you have to take in nicotine, which we're trying to cut out.
