I know that MH bulbs has a blue frequency for vegging and HPS has a red frequency for blooming. But which will the a better bulb for the entire growth process? which will produce better yields when used during the whole growth process?
What bulb is in this picture? MH or HPS? I think its MH cus the light is kinda blue.

color looks like an mh but the bulb seems to be a christmas dilldo in other words an HPS, most people vegitate with mh and even flower with it mh gives u less bud but much better qualety tighter fatter buds i think the best thing would be to veg with the mh and then put the HPS on with the mh during flowering ull get the streching effect of the hps and the fettening effect of the mh

k, if you cant get two lamps, then you have a couple of options. 1) Get a Sun-argo HPS, it has an enhanced bleu spectrum so that it can do it all. Or 2) get a ballast that can use both HPS and MH, of called a conversion system. if you cant do that, i guess MH would work for both.
and get a clue, you might want to ask who you got the light from what kind of light it is.

The sun agro works ok for flowering but if you have the money switch to a hps conversion bulb. I have found that hps is MUCh better for flowering then MH or agro
