I don't know if this is the right place. Oh well.
So there I was, sitting and watching three's company, and a commercial comes on where a woman has a problem. It's no ordinary problem, for you see, whenever she coughs, laughs, or excercises, she loses urine, and I'm guessing that means through her vaginal region. I mean, if she was carrying around a cup of urine, I could see how she would lose it when she coughs, laughs, or excercises, but I fear this is not the case.
So is this a common problem with women or not? What is vaginal rejuvination exactly, and have any women undergone this procedure? It's like watching a car crash when you know you shouldn't, I just can't help it.

why don't you just say that you have this problem and get it out there? ha, i've never heard of "vaginal rejuevination" It sounds more like a eurethral problem considering we're dealing with urine and not lubrication. It sounds like you *cough* I mean, the person in the commercial has a problem with her PC muscle not contracting enough to seal off the eurethra from leaking/squirting out urine whenever pressure is applied to the bladder.

the urethra and vagina are in two different places and are wired to two very different systems... I'd guess its a problem with PC contractions.

Insanity knows the female anatomy! Very correct that those are two separate systems, although it's true they're rather close together.
Vaginal rejuvenation is a trend in plastic surgery these days. Plastic or reconstructive surgeons essentially "pretty up" the vaginal area cosmetically. They make uneven labia more symmetrical, do a little tightening of the outer tissues, use injectable solutions to plump up certain areas, and just basically make the whole area look better. Sometimes after pregnancies and childbirth, or just after life or, say, a lot of weight gain and loss, the labia or the outer area of the vagina can get loose, the labia can start to look uneven, or the area can get torn. Anyway, rejuvenation surgery pretties that area up.
Ladies who have trouble with leaking urine when they cough or laugh usually have lost tone in the ligaments and muscles that support their bladder and in the urethra. The PC (pubococcygeal) muscle is one of those supporting pelvic floor muscles, but sphincter and bladder muscles are also involved. After the weight and pressure of pregnancy and hard pushing during childbirth, those muscles lose their tone and don't tighten the way they're supposed to, and the problem of leaking urine results. Exercising the PC and pelvic floor muscles can help prevent or improve the problem, but often the best fix for this problem is surgery, usually laparascopic surgery, to tighten up those bladder-supporting ligaments and muscles. This surgery is internal, as opposed to vaginal rejuvenation surgery, which is external. A urological or general surgeon generally does bladder-related procedures.
Like Insanity said, the bladder/urethra and vagina are two separate areas that live in the same "neighborhood," but the problems that can cause the need for either type of surgery are often the same: childbirth. A couple of episodes of "Dr. 90210" have covered vaginal rejuvenation surgeries this year, and I learned about the bladder-leakage issues from my mother-in-law and her sisters, who've all had surgery to fix that problem.

women, especially after children or aging, get this prob, it is very common. my wife has a it. sneezing is the worst. usually can be fixed by what they call a "bladder suspension". a sheer netting like pantyhose is used to support the bladder inside the body, keeps pressure off certain areas that allow urine to escape when the diaphram muscles contract. r

You guys know a lot of very wierd subjects. The problem is, I was wondering how a "vaginal" rejuvination would even touch the woman's urinary tract. I never knew it was so common, which is probably because the difference between guys and girls is like the difference between a pacifier and a Chevy Suburban.

Why would anyone want they're vagina all cut up then put back together differently? Is this a new form of expression?
I'm scared. :(

It's a mystery to me, too, why anyone would do rejuventation surgery, except possibly a porn star whose privates are consantly on display. Some folks just get obsessed with thinking parts of their bodies have to be improved upon.

Ladies, did you know you could perform an internal vaginal exercise that will strengthen the walls of your vagina, making childbirth easier, incontinence more unlikely and orgasms much stronger? If you've had a baby, your doctor probably told you all about these exercises, called Kegels. The rest of you, listen up.
Begin by locating your PC muscle. The next time you urinate, see if you can stop and start the flow of urine without moving your legs or squeezing the nerves in your buttocks. Feel a flexing and tightening beneath your bladder? The apparatus that allows you to perform this move is your PC muscle. If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't worry. Try again the next time you pee. You'll eventually find it.
Once you've found your PC muscles, you're ready to start practicing Kegels. Follow these steps:
Contract your PC muscles.
Hold for a count of five.
Relax your PC muscle.
Repeat 10 times.
That's all there is to it.

I think this is the same exercise prescribed to men to improve their ejaculation?

Yeah, it is. Because in guys, the pubococcygeal muscles support the urethral structures and all the semen-producing plumbing, and so stronger muscles help make those ejaculatory spasms stronger and apparently help strengthen men's ability to last longer. I wasn't sure whether they called the exercises Kegels when recommending them for men, but apparently they do. I found this.

Incontinence is caused by a lack of vitamin D/D-3.
The most negleted of all vitamins responsible for MUSCLE TONE and the prevetion of 16 types of cancer.
Mainstream pharm products can only mimic vitamin D and cannot patent this substance. They dont even come close to what the sunshine and supplemental form has to offer.
You need a minimum of 1000 I.U./day and up to 4000 I.U. is safe.
My reccommendation is to supplement in dry form in the winter. In spring and summer get 20 minutes of 50% body exposure to sunlight where D-3 is naturally converted and synthesized in the skin three times per week.
Believe it or not the sun actually prevents many forms of cancer and processes other nutrients in the body.
The sun is your friend.
The northern latitudes are known as the cancer belt for a reason due to extended periods of darkness in the winter and long overcast days.
Dont listen to the B.S on the T.V. about incontinence.

Kegel does wonders for your sex life!
As for vaginal rejuvination, I'm not against the idea but its not for me
Alot of females that get it done have bore children and they are a bit loose
They usually make things even down there and tighten it and restore the hymen
I don't personally see a reason why if your happily married, it seems like a waste of money and time to me
to each its own

Then again, people waste their money on plant material which they smoke to get high.
