AHHHHH I WAS SO MADDDDDDD. I played starcraft BACK IN THE DAY. and i just remembered i still had the cd a few weeks ago. I tried installing it and it wouldnt do it. IT WAS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 95 OR 98. thats how old it was. i was so pissed, its such a good game

hahahah it's pretty old skool.. i recently rebought the original cd from amazon for 6.99 came out to like 13$ after shipping.

needed a new cd since i lost the cd key.. i do enjoy a good game now and then :)

the reason it doesn't work on that other guy's comp is because he has an old disc. The disc has it's own version that is updated through future manufacturing which is why the newer discs can run on xp. The old discs aren't up to date enough yet.

I used to play a good bit, send Blizzard an accidentally cracked old cd ( wink wink) and they send you a new one because the old ones have a tendency to break up in the computer. :)
