Cost to run 1000w metal halide

This is my first grow with a HID just wanted to know what i should expect to pay every month to run it 18/6? Thanks

Take your electric bill find where it says how much you are paying per KW of power x 18 x how many days in the month.

what size is your grow space you may not need such a high watt
light or go with multiple smaller lights if it is a bigger room

am using a 1000w mh 2 am paying 140 a month i use my ligths in my house alot to but i did bahge all the bulbs in the house
