[The Big Easy]

I live in a small town in Wyoming of about 9,000 people. This week of the summer around 1500 Hells Angels are here for a very big biker rally. The town has been a buzz all summer awaiting this week and people have expressed mixed feelings on the Angels having their rally here. To combat the "evil" hells angels, the state of Wyoming and the mormon cheif of police that runs this town brought in 500 Sheriffs, police and national guard. We heard that this was going to happend but I myself did not believe they would go this far. You can not drive four town blocks without seeing and being seen by 7 cop cars. Instead of the police focusing on the reason of them coming here (the hells angels) they are attacking our citizens. A young man here got pulled over three times in one day and searched extensivly every time. Each time they found nothing. The reason they gave for this harrasment is that they are trying to prevent the angels from dealing drugs to the citizens. If you leave town on the high way you will see at least three different police with three different cars pulled over at the same time within 15 miles of each other. It is martial law here in this small town and I am planning a mild protest tomorrow to show the peoples feelings of being harrassed. I wish I was exagerating this put I am really not. For one week out of the summer an (american) town has lost all rights of privacy and freedom. So far the Angels have done absolutly nothing to disturb the peace and the keepers of the peace of the peace have turned this place upside down.

But in all seriousness that is really horrible. Lets just hope our country doesnt become like your town permanently. That would be horrible.

Fucking idiot police officers.

You should call the police department several times, claiming that you smell marijuana here or there, or that so-and-so person is doing drugs at x location. That should waste the police's time. Dispatch the police everywhere for petty things. Tell them a Marijuana patch is growing somewhere.. or that some hooligans are smoking grass on the outskirts of town. Waste their time and money. Give them the run around. Hell, you could even call the cops on yourself and laugh when they look for the nonexistant drugs! Just don't tell them it was you who called!!
