My buddy had a NWA song on....here is an excerpt(SP?) from the song that I found most interesting...
"I still express, yo I don't smoke weed or cess!
Cause its known to give a brother brain damage,
And brain damage on the mic don't manage nuttin'
But makin a sucker and you equal,
Don't be another sequel!"
So why is NWA so cool, then Dr dre goes on to make his album the Chronic, that guy is a fucking sellout of the highest order but still I hear weed smokers talk his hype up. Fuck him
I like Nirvana,Sublime, some underground rap. It might be a small list but atleast its good music, unlike most of the bullshit that is produced today. It seems like any punk can get his record produced and published these days, its all going down the drain, stick with the classics :)
Anyone noticed that now if you are related to a celeb you automatically are "IN" (Movies/Tv Shows/Albums) Seems like the rich are trying to keep their own on top....
Sorry for goin off topic

Almost identical to mine...
The only thing I dont listen to by choice is punk...alot of my friends are punk...more old school though (clash, sex pistols etc), but it just doesn't do it for me.

No punk eh? I love a good punk song. Not like, Simple Plan shit emo punk, that stuff is crap. I watched Simple.P get booed off the stage at the Warped Tour one year. It was awesome to see thousands of empty bottles being hurled at them from a distance while I toked a bowl. Ahh memories...
