That's information usually kept between the mod in question and the member. In general, just look at the past posts of that member and you'll find out.

Why would a cop spend a long time trying to set up a bust on cannabis.com when the reality is the person in question has such a small amount that in some states doesn't even qualify it as a crime? Because, it sends a message that you're not safe no matter where you go and that 'they' are always watching. That and ya gotta figure...some of us have careers, families, homes, etc. Easy place to catch and intimidate the little fish in order to try to find the big fish.

But at the same time, unless they can see there is 'action' occuring within the united states, I agree with most thoughts here that police probably won't do much. Too much of a hassle and too much money to deal with international cases.

The thing is, it is a lot more cost effective to pull over some suspicious looking car and search it. Why would any police officer set up some elaborate scheme to bust small time pot-heads on the internet when the real money is catching the people who either run drugs, or have a small amount of them when they get caught doing something.

Thanks for the tip, but I am married and I am a pharmacist (thus aware of how little the DEA actually does when it comes to catching small-timers). I also have a comparitive religion degree for no damn good reason, so I am not a kid. :)

I was just wondering why everyone I talk to via AIM or other messaging service is so damn paranoid! They all seem to think that narcs go around messaging people, and I just wanted to check it out here and get more opinions on the matter.

Here's my problem with someone I am talking to: he's banned, has only one post, and the post wasn't anything ban-able...

Yeah...It seems alot harder to get busted using the internet than I ever imagined.

You can buy all kinds of drugs on the net these days, and I haven't known anyone personally who has been busted for it. Buying research chemicals, mushrooms, weed, seeds, etc...

I mean you have to think about how much information is running through the internet every single second. The police would have to go to so much work to track people down and prove that whatever they were posting was true beyond a reasonable doubt.

The police have better things to do, usually, then bust a bunch of pot-smoking, internet-junkies. :smokin:

Don't act like a criminal. Marijuana is a medicine not a hard addictive drug. Just dont do harder drugs if you think it'll become a problem 'cause that's bad for everyone who fights for the legalization of marijuana. Ignorant people always blame weed for being gateway for harder drugsl. Treat weed like if was the best medicine ever, 'cause it is, at least for depression. Making its use a crime is just stupid and almost everyone knows it.
