Frost is hitting tonight, I have 2 females almost ripe ( say 10dys for 1, 21 for the other )...Anyway, I drapped a light bed sheet plus a Garbage bag over these ladies.....praying they will survive being suffocated.

The 3rd plant I have will not finish until late november. and where I live, unless I pull in 3 wks and make hash, no use will come of it

Question is ( and I will know I guess in the AM ) did I do the right thing by covering them? I have read and researched a lot, but from my research there is no right or suggested way to take care of this problem

Also.. Daylight starts at 6am, but frost addvisory ends at 9am, when should I uncover them??

Hello,

I do not know how much insulation the two will provide, but I do not think that they will suffocate from being covered overnight.

Get a large garbage can and put it over them also, this will certainly help block out the cold.

Hope this helps.

"You'd be surprised how many of us in the field of Law do it"

Are you a police officer? Or in the justice system?

I am not trying to start any drama, just curious.

If so, I just want to say that I think that it is comendable that you are willing to still help hold up the generalized law, but are indipendant enough to know shit laws when you see them.

i dont have any experience growing outside talfrn although wot student says about suffocating them is correct,i read in another post of some1 doing this and after 1 night they were all wilted an i think he lost a few due to this method of protecting from frost, like it says in the post i read if you cover yourself with a bin bag you gonna die with no oxygen!same goes for your plants

dont worry about frost to much as cannabis can take temp's as low as -5c for a night or 2.

Talfrn I would avoid plastic bags. They can sufficate the plants. I do not know how hard your frost are but they can't be real hard frost so just use a blanket or heavy sheet that way they can still breath. Or like previous post use garbage can plastic one if you it will insulate better than metal, metal one can hold the cold in them and if you do use metal remove soon as you can next morning when sun in sky. Hello,

Thanks for the reply. I did not mean to sound foolish. Just curious.

I truly think that it is commendable that you are an activist, and that you dedicate efforts and time to such a worthy cause. I am currently trying to figure out what it takes to become a licensed caregiver in my state. I must admit though, I am having a hard time figuring out what to do first.

Talk to you later.
