Hey everyone: I just acquired a 3', 10" ozone generator called the Green Avenger. The glass tube in it is about 2' long. I placed it by the ceiling in the room next to my "room". My problem is this. Eventhough I taped the supreme hell out of the out take end that has the flex ducting on it along with where it hooks up to my squirrel fan, I can STILL smell the ozone, so obviously I have a leak.
I was wondering if perhaps I have a "leak back" into my room, through the squirrel fan, even though the fan's running continuously. I'm wondering if perhaps I should place an 10" inline fan, so the seal would perhaps be better.
Also wondering if there is a device that you can hook up to these generators that will automatically detect when they should turn on, or is it simply a case of putting them on a timer, and keep fiddling with it till your satisfied it's doing it's job.
My room is approx: 10X12 with 9' ceiling, so if the opinion is that of a timer, could you give me some idea of how many minutes on/off in an hour to begin?
Unfortunately my generator didn't come with a manual so everything is a bit of a guess at this point. Thanks in advance for any input.
