First of all I honestly think this band is one of the most talented bands of all time. (Yes I actually mean that...musically theyre breaking boundaries, theyre all skilled beyond beleif and they have the versatility of a paper towel [I couldnt think of a better example to show how versatile they are fuck off]).
So I just got their new ALL cover cd...SPOT ON. All the covers are SO good...almost exactly like the originals, but with the BTBAM style. They can cover things from Queen's Bicycle Race to Metallica to Counting Crows Colorblind to Pink Floyd's Us and Them with dead on balls accuracy (I love My Cousin Vinny).
The only reason I posted this here was cause Im just SO stoked on this cd I had to tell everyone about it, and plus you guys might like it for the Pink Floyd.
Check out everything BTBAM has ever done, they are absolutely mental.

Honestly I recommend it so strongly. Even if you have no musical background you will be able to appreciate how rediculously talented they are. My personal suggestions:
Selkies: The Endless Obsession
Aesthetic
Aspirations
Mordecai
The Oprimer
Camilla Rhodes
and any others you can get your hands on. they own, hands down

I listened to the blackened cover and I give them credit, they did that song justice!
So now I'm going to get some of their own work

I downloaded the Silent Circus album. It sounds like C&C on crack, which is pretty damn good in my opinion.

O.K. That album is fucking amazing. One minute, it's as hardcore as Morbid Angel, the next minute, it's beautiful like Elliot Smith. Wow.

i have the alaska album and although most of it is too insane for my taste, i can't deny their musical talent because they are absolutely insane. however, this album is pretty watered down. i don't think they did enough with most of the songs (i.e. make them their own). most of the songs (cemetary gates sticks out in my mind) sound like the singer is just doing karaoke. rumor has it that they only put out this CD to get out of their current contract with victory, but thats just a rumor. victory does suck though.
