i have a white widow male and a Big budxSuperskunk male from seed. I know the BBxSS is stable from what ive read about it. I have some other afghanis, indicas(unknown from Lake TAhoe), and BBXSS's.

Which would i be better off using to make seeds for next years outside grow. I dont know alot about WWs breeding characteristics.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Cross! If you have a female of the other, that is. That or have a smoke of each and decide which is better. You do know you need a female to make seeds, right?

Sometimes you can get some really unstable hybrids. Are you trying to grow out a particular characteristic or just kinda see what you get?

"I know the BBxSS is stable from what ive read about it."

You cannot assume that *your* BB x SS is stable tho.

just lookn to see what comes out of the crosses. All of the BBXSS ive had over the last several years are growing out the same and with the exception of this year all have been female seed. But i dont want to take a chance wtih the WW male pollen if its not know to cross well with others. Its a plant outside like ive never seen...lol. Hence my thought for using the male to make seed. But my strains have been real stable and i would hate to screw an already good thing up by being curious. I did that 10 yrs ago with the indoor set up. Mix up alot of diff. stuff and you just would never know....But i had more unstable and hermies that it wasnt worth it. Im gonna have pollen in a couple more days.....maybe i will keep the KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID theory this year.....haha

How's the BB x SS outdoors? Any mold issues towards then end? Sorry I don't have much experience with breeding but I think you want to grow out as many plants as you can of each strain you plan on using in your cross. Then selecting the male and females with the most favorable traits and using them for your breeding stock.

i agree,,,,,,,,however,,,,outside that isnt always possible to grow 50 or so of each strain here. So far its been hot and humid........104 degrees with 60% humidity and they seem to be doing fine.

The WW grew outside like NO other ive seen. For ever 2-4" a day it would also kick out the shoots 2-4 inches high on the previous days growth. Since 6/21 its tied down,,,,,3 feet around and the shoots are anwhere from 6 to 12" tall. Its like a little umbrella. And dense as hell. Thats my reason for wanting to use him. And it showing flowers----all be it male after only a month of veg. outside. It would make a perfect tie down plant outside i just dont know on its stabilty
