yeah same here. i've started and stopped quite a few times for girls before, but all i can say is - it aint worth stopping. i aint planning on stopping again but by about 50-60 i probably wont be able to carry on i guess

I'm going to smoke growing up, but once i have a family, and an important job i will be quitting for an extended period of time. (Maybe bi-yearly, tops) I don't want my kids to get into it, as much as i am for it i don't think it belongs in a family. Plus, i want something to look forward too when i'm an old fart :)

I would say whenever/if ever the negatives outwiegh the positives. As long as I'm suffering no harmful effects from smoking, I'll keep lighting up...and as long as I can connect.

I plan on smoking as long as I can. I have an uncle who has 3 kids and a wife and smokes daily. He also owns his own engineering company and makes 7 figures..he's pretty much my hero :thumbsup:

I'll probably never stop smoking weed unless it affects me. So i don't know. Cigarettes i'll probably quit within the month. I don't really think you get physically addicted to cigarettes. Just mentally addicted.. kinda like weed in ways. Weed can only be addicting if it's mental addiction. My lungs have had their share of smoke, and eventually all that shit catches up to you. I do still need my lungs for many things. I guess we will just have to see. But weed, i won't stop smoking.

Most likely never, as long as it's illegal, I'm definatly not quitting. It's just the principle of the matter. I'm not going to let the government tell me how to live my life, and I hope my children, won't have to grow up in a place like that. As for school, they tore down one of our smoking spots, the best one. They're rebuilding the school, it's old. So I'll probably smoke in my car or in smoking spot #2. It's almost as good, but just a tad out of the way.

Well, the way I feel now, I won't ever stop. I'll cut down when and if I ever get to have a family, starting to think I'm destined to be alone the rest of my life. If that's the case, I'll keep smoking until I can't even lift my fingers to my mouth to light the bowl or joint or what have you.

I'm 44 and can attest that it's still fun even in middle age. I've only been a very occasional, infrequent smoker in the last couple of months as my sister's been dealing with a terminal illness and has been smoking to help boost her appetite.

I'm pretty certain her smoking days are now over, and mine are, too. I start medical school in about three weeks, and I think I have to sign code of professional conduct agreement saying I won't do illegal drugs as a physician in training. So I guess I've already said goodbye. Maybe when I retire I'll take it up again.

I'll stop smoking when I stop smoking. I can't say exactly when that'll be, but I think I'll be 60+ when it happens. I'll be wise and content enough within myself by that point that I won't need weed just for the experience.
