well about 4 years ago i found about 500 seeds in a trashcan in my basement, from my dad who smokes weed. i took most of them and put them away in a bag and basically forgot about them

i was gonna start growing so i got the bag out, and was wondering if these seeds could still be good or if i should just throw them away. do they last 4+ years in a bag.. thanks:confused: :confused:

It should be good they say seeds stored properly should last about 5 years I ve heard of dudes that have germed 10 year old seeds but dont know if they know what they where talking about

yeah people have germed seeds 20 plus years old. say you have 500 seeds. 5 years later only 400 might be good. 10 years later maybe only 200 you see the more time goes by the less viable they become but with that many I'm sure a bunch of them are good. If I were you I would just drop 20 bucks on a pack of seeds from Nirvana for your first grow. That way you know what your growing and not wasteing your time on some bullshit.

1st I would look for the darkest hardest seeds and go from there...light colored and any you can squoosh, dispose of.

so far i put 10 in germination and 6 have little tails around 1/4 inch or so

are you set up to grow, or did you just start a bunch of seeds? If you are not, you are going to be up for a rude awakening in a couple weeks...peace
