GIVE IT UP. ALL YOUR PROBS ARE SO BASIC. DO SOME READING AND WHEN IT ALL MAKES SENCE,,, THEN GROW THEM BABIES. DON'T PUT THEM THRU SHIT YOU WOULDNT PUT YOUR REAL BORN BABIES THRU.
GOOD LUCK

There are quite a few ways to get your temperature down. What size grow room do you have? If it is an actual room, look into getting an air conditioner for it. If it is a smaller space, buy a fan and air cool your light. Boyznus is right though, all this information is already here on the board by using the search button. It sometimes takes a little time to find your answer, but it is there. Also try this website for some good info:

If that doesn't have the answer to most of your questions, then start asking around. Good luck with your grow.

dont give up you learn by making mistakes um hooking up a exauste fan would help have ir hooked up so it sucks heat from the buld also an intake bring in fresh cool air will help. you could try cutting the light from 24 if thats what your doing to a 18/6 and run the 6 dark hours at the hottest point of the day what is the tempeture outside?

Nevermind the temp of the room...its the temperature around your plants you should concern yourself with.

Do you have central air?

If so...head to a hardware store, get yourself a aluminum exhaust hose. Typically they are in 8' lengths (once stretched all the way out).

Remove the nearest vent cover, shove one end of the hose up into the duct work...secure it by wrapping a shirt or towel around the end...one to hold it in place, two to prevent cool air escaping through any gaps.

Once its securely in place...you can bend, stretch, angle it in any direction you want it to go. Mine dumps it cold air right into the center of my grow area...with plants growing all around it. For additional cool spots...simply pop holes along the length in the areas you want cool air to be able to leak out of the sides of the hose.

I did the dyer hose method last summer. It works pretty good. After hooking up the hose to A/C vent, I put the other end, blowing between the light and the top of the plants. This also where I kept my digtal thermometer, to record high/low temps and humdity.
