I have a tabby cat and according to my exgf I have got him addicted to caffiene (I am a caffiene addict) she says this because he likes biscuits (cookies) but he doesn't eat them unless I first dip them in my coffee.
I say it's because he doesn't like dry biscuits cause of the crumbs, she says I've made him into an addict.
Do you folks think a cat can get addicted to caffiene ?

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be aything he won't eat if it is edible he'll have it.
Strange things he has eaten are ,6 cannabis seedlings, earth worms (yuk), chocolate and,,,, wait for it,,,,, ONION ????(WTF)

LOL he ate your weed plants? xD
But yeah, I read cats and dogs like young seedlings for some reason. I think some other animals were listed too but I'm not sure.

Sounds to me like he's just a cat who likes to eat, not a coffee addict.

He's gonna be a fat cat pretty soon lol! Small fat animals are hillarious too me. Wow, I just realized I get too much amusement off of animals lol.

I have a fat but very sweet orange tabby, and I kept wondering how he was getting so chunky. Turns out he's been eating the dogs' food, too. He's on a diet now, and I don't let him have access to dog food anymore. He'll even eat rawhide chews. His favorite thing is pizza.

LOL, I might get a cat when I get older just to see how it lives. Animals are interesting to me. Maybe he'll enjoy getting smoked out :).

You definitely need a cat, Orangeman. They're cool. Why was I thinking you already had one?

Well we did but then we didnt. It was a stray cat that came around for food and some old whore in the neighborhood killed them off with a mixture that was basically food poisoning.

Oh yeah, I remember when you were telling about that evil old lady. Did anyone ever report her to the SPCA?

Well, Orangeman, I hope you'll be pleased to know that there's a little orange tabby kitty who belongs to the people next door but who spends most of his time over here because I feed him and love him and he likes to play with my animals.
Anyway, I've just officially changed his name from Tiger to Orangeman in your honor. He's the sweetest kitty, and I love him. I really did just announce to my family, "OK, from now on, we're calling him Orangeman instead of Tiger after Orangeman on the boards." I'll hang onto him, and if you ever want to come to Texas for a visit, you can come down here and visit me and take him home as your souvenir. He needs someone to love him and take care of him (which is why he lives over here with me instead of with my neighbors). NOW you have a kitty.

Have you tried soaking the biscuit in something other than coffee? Try it with decaf and see if the cat will eat it.

Nothing my pup likes better then an end square piece of hours old pizza. lol
I think my dog is addicted to Meaty Bones tho.:)

Fat orange cat who loves to eat? How did you come to own the legendary garfield birdgirl?:D

My orange tabby cat's sweeter than Garfield! He's like a big, pudgy orange kitten with a white chin. And he has a very high, kittenish, girly meow. His name's Orange Julius.
OJ belonged to my neighbors to the west. (I have a bad habit of stealing pets that first belong to my neighbors.) They found him at their place of business, dumped as a kitten, and brought him home but never took him for shots or neutering or anything. They were letting him live in their bushes, and when I'd work in the yard, he'd come over to visit me. He was just starved for affection and attention. He was the tiniest, cutest thing, and I gradually began feeding him and giving him water. Then I'd spend long hours holding and petting him. He increasingly spent more time over here. Then as he got bigger, he started getting beaten up in cat fights by neighborhood cats, and I'm sure he was probably also fathering his share of unwanted kittens. So I went over and told the neighbors I was taking him to get fixed and get his shots. They said that was fine.
After I got him back home from the vet, I realized I was the one who loved him and maintained him, so I moved him into my house. The neighbors never blinked an eye about that. Now he's been here for four years, and I couldn't live without him.
The other orange cat, the one I've named after Orangeman, officially belongs to my neighbors on the other side of our house. He is still in the phase where he's simply eating and drinking and visiting over here, but by the time cold weather comes, I'll probably have him living inside, too, and he may turn out to be a pizza lover as well. I just can't abide people who don't take proper care of their pets. Animals deserve better treatment. Sorry for such a long answer!

That story sounds very familiar, thats how I went from 6 cats to nine plus a couple of casual visitors looking for a free meal. I've never been very good at turning away pussy :o :p :D
