We finally put together two 18 gallon tuberware totes and made them ready for planting and used 4 inch pots in them and hooked them up to a 80 gallon air pump and put in 2 air rocks in each. We put in clay rocks and have several plants starting to grow in starter system. WHAT we need badly is a log that someone may have put together if and when they did this type of system so we can follow what they did and do this right. We wold love to be able to read the logs of those who have done this type of system and have tried typng it in search and came back empty , but i feel we r doing something wrong as we have seen this seems to be a popular way to grow.
PLEASE HEP US.. p.s. we are using a 600 watt mh+hps light system with it , should this be enough light for both boxes together or would 400 watt been enough.
We hope to put our own log up when we get this thing going full blast as we have pictures and costs all done to this point and would to share, but need a little help getting going rest of way and hope a log would do that.

well, this is a pretty basic setup. What kind of info do you want? I may be able to just tell you what to do.

What kind of equipment do you have? PH Pen? PPM Meter? The bigger the light the better so go with a 600W HPS. Have you ever grown hydro before? I am assuming you have grown in dirt? Are the plants girls? What is the grow space like? How much are you trying to produce weight wise? Give me this info and I am sure i can help you along.

What I dont understand is when you are growing clones in a "bubbler" system, using macro plugs, but what i dont get is the "humidhood" needed. WHat can I make one out of? A smiple plastic "dome"? Cant seem to find anything that works...

Unless you have some type of leaf shine spray(pick it up at HD or WM) you need some way to keep your plants moist until the roots establish themselves.- Diz:rasta:
