Hi again,
I'd like to know how long to i keep the seeds germinating in the dome? do i keep it sealed or slightly open. i've read that hum. domes can cause mold and other problems. so i ventilate the dome?

Below is the dome i'm using, alone with the rw cubes with bigbud seeds in them that have not sprouted yet.

thanks again for all the help..

I've never used a dome for seedlings. Too much chance of damping-off (pythium wilt- a fungus).

I'd take that thing right off if I were you and just make sure the cubes are holding enough moisture.

yeah i agree with stinkyattic on this
i have never used that for germinating the only things you need for germinating a seed are
moisture
darkness
and warmth

isent that used for clones anyway
cheers all :)

I used a dome in the window and the plants are really leggy and I don't know whether to proceed. Now they are 6", with 3-4" stems. Ideas?

Your problem is the window. You need real lights. And lose the dome.
