This guy needs to stop making these PG-13 suspense thillers man...

Talk about a bore. Hehe...I don't know man it looks to me like he's trying to rip-off his own Ring movie.

The Ring was I think one of the only movies ever to put my ass to sleep. Then he made the Village People or something that, it was about as boring. I probably won't bother with this new one at all.

But glad you like his stuff man all comes down to personal taste I suppose...atleast you'll definitely have fun before the movie begins.

Yeah, he did the Sixth Sense. That was when people were just like, 'WOW! This guy is GOOD!' I like all his other movies, too, The Village was a little boring though. I just never got into the story once my brother told me the ending before I saw it, =(

Anyway, I really want to see Lady in the Water, but will probably end up having to p-rate it!

Lol at M. (Good)Night Shamalyan. All his movies are subpar at best, excluding the Sixth Sense, which was a good movie. He's so full of himself it makes me sick. For some strange reason, he thinks that one good movie automatically makes him King of Hollywood, so he can come out with garbage and it's supposed to be this amazing, award-winning film just because HE made it. Bahhh humbug, that's what I say. All of his movies are way too drawn out and boring, with little to no significant plot twist at the end, despite what many think. I guess a few quick camera shots and loud noises makes a great pre-teen thriller, though, right?

I sniffed out the ending to the Village as soon as I walked into the theaters, and it seems his movies are getting weirder and weirder, so hopefully he can make something scary in this one.

Oh.

And I love you.~

After his Village movie...I think I'll pass. I haven't ever seen anything so boring, and pointless. I mean, The Village monsters were people in costumes! Revealed in the middle of the story. Yeah, Oooooo, spooky. I shit scarier things than that.

First off- he did not make the ring.

Second- it has nothing to do with dead chicks coming out of the water.

third- if your patient enough and have a brain that weighs 8 pounds....you should be able to follow his movies.

King of hollywood? this dude never talks....so

and the village was about more than people in coustumes...it has to do with the fact that the founders of this village all went to a group therapy thing in nyc because something terrible happened to them and started this little village with the intent of keeping bad things happenin to there children hence scaring them from leaving the village...

final note- i figured this one out of all this years summer movies would be trippy as fuck high.

If you had a brain that weighed an ounce you'd be able to follow his movies.

My problem with that man is he thinks he's the new alfred hitchcock, who was incredible for his time. I say this because he stars in every movie he makes, and every movie has a twist, which are hitchcock's things. He's made a few alright movies, but I think he thinks he's a lot better than he is.

Twists are good, but the story has to be good first. He's not really a filmmaker, he just has one angle, and that's a twist. You can go pretty far in hollywood with just an angle, and that's what I think he did.

He's alright. I'll go see his movie because it's interesting and kind of intriguing, much as I also enjoy playing hungry hungry hippos. All I can say is, I'd think so much more of him if this movie didn't have a twist. That would show me that he's at least trying to be a credible filmmaker.

What a tweest!

I've seen enough articles and interviews to lead me to believe that he thinks he's hot shit. He's not a quality director. Maybe he should concentrate more on fucking epics than actual movies. Please, I don't have 3 hours to sit around for an ending I saw the minute I walked into the building. He's got good imagination, yes, but that's it.

He always tries to make his movies carry some deep, important message, and in the process, totally strays away from making a good ending. The Sixth Sense was good, yes, because he didn't try and make it carry some pointless commentary on society. Then moving on to the Village, it had a good 2 hour build-up, then the costumes kind of ruined the direction he was going with the movie. It was like he was so excited to let everyone know the monsters were really people in costumes that he just put that scene in a random spot out of pure glee.

And I'm still sick of him trying to stick his name on any movie and that automatically makes it a great, award-winning movie. He's a good, young actor, but there's no way he ranks nearly as high as he does in his own mind.
