Water quality???

I have read over and over that it is a MUST your water source only have < 300ppm. Yet I see no one talking about this...I cant afford to buy a RO machine, nor will I lug Aquafina or any other good water to my home...just isnt cost worthy. So my big question is...is it that big a deal? Do most in the states have decent water quality? Or is it one of the "must things" for me to lug all this "pure water" to my home??

Any expericened help would be much appreciated...feel free to elaborate on past experiences you have had....

If your town water sucks, RO is out of reach for price, and bottled water is stupid, then get a rain barrel going.

Thanks for the idea...hasnt rained much in these parts as of late. I just found out my water is around 800ppm. BUT, I have seen buds grown around here on just reg. old tapwater and they look fabulous (Juicey Fruit/Romulin strain). So again, I dont see the point. Anymore input would be appreciated....thanks.

Research strains that are impossible to kill. There are some really forgiving ones out there.
