Lets just stop driving cars and smoking pot all together because we fail to understand the entire basis of economy, supply and demand.

Just about EVERYONE relies on a vehicle to get somewhere. Now a days, more than 1/2 (if not 3/4) of the vehicles on the road are gas guzzling behemoths. Gas is required to run these vehicles incase you didn't know, so there is obviously high demand for it. When something is in demand, its only natural that it will cost more money, hence the expensive gas prices.

Its the same with pot. If you live in an area where a lot of people smoke, the prices will be higher since there is more demand for it.

By the way, posting in all CAP's does nothing to seperate this from any other useless price thread.

in theory it's a good idea, but it's much easier to hide/manage a small stash at a time than it is to risk growing your own. THe penalty in most places for growing means they take on intent to distribute, which ups the jail time if caught. Plus, for most casual smokers (couple times a month) it's just less of a hassle, and I don't mind paying a reasonable price for the convenience. (especially if it's delivered)

Even in theory, its a horrible idea.

Drug dealing is taking a serious risk. That risk is what justifies the price.

Cultivating is an alternative, but thats also a serious risk that also justifies the price.

Same with weed and prices I have no problem with it though because I live in a section of the U.S. where prices are shit-low. Sometimes it makes me wonder if just all the weed is schwaggy because of such low prices.

It's all circumstances. I'm waiting on a house at which time, I plan to grow. Right now, I'm in a two bedroom apartment, I have no room to grow without annoying the wife. If I were still single, then it'd be on and popping. So while my cirumstances dictate that I need to buy right now, the best I can do is shop around.

I would say that going out and buying your smoke from someone is a much higher risk than the cultivation of it inside your dwelling. When I get my own place, I'm going to grow it. Imagine if the government would regulate the sale of marijuana, they could make a fortune.

Or you can buy in bulk like free bird said and if you know your dealer pretty well then he might start lowering the prices for you.. at least thats how it is for me.

Thats the most retarted thing I ever read. If you knew anything about how weed is distributed you would know that dealers dont dictate the price, its the supplier. You think anyone is gonna change their prices cuz you decide you dont want to pay it? I think you might be 15 payin $20 for 1.5 grams. If you aint gettin a good price its because

A) You are lame.
B) You are 15.
C) Dealers know you are a rich kid from the burbs.
D) All of the above.

Dont take for granted the mufukas who make things happen so you can go home and smoke whinin about prices while people are out here risking thier asses for a couple bucks.
