well i think that how people drive stoned is a person to person issue. i say this because i too have driven about 2 1/2 years with no accidents and i feel that i drive alot better because my preception is focused alot more towards driving and not other stuff. although on the other side of the coin, i know people who cant smoke a j and be straight let alone drive a car...haha

i only like driving stoned if i'm cruising on the interstate. i always get really nervous if i see cops or anything driving because i am usually speeding, but i have never been in a real accident. i'm a good driver either way on the interstate because its easy, but its better to concentrate in a city when i'm in a clear state of mind.

Same thing happened first time I drive high, had a little fender bender one day. Haven't had another accident since.

I actually think I drive better when I'm high. I tend to just find a 'sweet spot', enjoy the ride, and not assholes bother me.

Man, I dont get in the car without a blunt rolled. Period. No exceptions. I drive like a pro when Im high. If Im sober i act like Jeff Gordon specially if I aint ridin dirty. On the other hand, my freind who used to drive when we would get work, goes 25 in the fast lane while talking on a cellphone and puffin a blunt with the window down at a redlight with his 4 12's turned all the way up with a quarter pounder with cheese in the trunk. Pure insanity. I only did that once let me tell you.

Back in Zimbabwe I used to drive stoned all the time, but ya, like you I was very seldom not totally blazed. Had an old automatic merc so could drive and roll. Even hooked up a big Hookah pipe between the seats for a couple of road trips, but hey, that was zim, you could get away with all sorts of shit there. Gave a ride to a cop on my way to work one morning, had a couple of oz on the glove box and half a bottle of whiskey under my seat and when I dropped him off at the station, he offered to pay for the lift. Good times, good times. Always felt perfectally safe, and only ever had two accidents (both very minor) and both times I was straight!

I too love being blazed and driving sure we all do stupid stuff like stop at a green light occasionly which i did a couple times for some odd reasons.

But i think it makes you more aware of your surroundings as long as your doing the speed or a speed you can handle your set plus its a fun comfortable ride.

i drove from stockton california to portland oregon in the middle of the night stoned the whole entire time. that's a 12 hour drive. not only did i not get in any accidents, but i drove perfectly.

i drive stoned all the time. it's easy to do once you're used to the effects of weed.

yah me and my friends get baked we're usually out in the town so someone has to drive, and my one friends doesnt have his liscence, so when its me and him, im the one driving, i usually drive slower when im baked but then i miss stuff like stop signs and red lights if im not paying attention, but luckily i havnt ran a red light yet, i find that mostly i just dont pay as much attention when im baked and driving. Also its fuckin scary when police follow you around when your stoned cause then your all like, ooo if i do something wrong theyll pull me over and bust us.. :o

I used to smoke and drive...back when I could get some. I found that when you smoke and get paranoid, you concentrate on shit like speed limits, etc. a LOT more than you would when sober...anyone agree? :cool:

^^^ thas try untill your passenger starts making you chat shyt. I been caught by speed traps on 2 occasions with the same passenger who made me chat shyt while stoned and driving. I lost concerntration. All other times I am fine and alert, but some passengers can be a put off. I have 6 points for speeding, and 3 points for disobeying traffic signals (redlight).^^^

im a crazy driver when blazed or not, so dosnt really fase me, i will just use my "uncontrolled drug addiction" and the pot i found at the bust station as my excuse for the 5 car pile up i have just caused. and will be willing to go to rehab to avoid fines and jail..........hahahahaha. oh and here in australia the pigs are trying to bring in random drug testing just like random breath testing..... only in some states though, how shit is that,

Yeah man,im an all day toker,always drive when im stoned and never below 80,only time i have a prob is when ive been toking all day and ive got to drive long distance,i find i get tired easily.And ive never had an accident and only times ive ever came close is due to other twats on road.

Damn...I've drivin stoned before and I realized I'm not good at it so I stopped. Now I let my friend drive me around. In fact just this morning, we skipped school and blazed for a bit. We rode around just bumpin some bone thugs. We at first decided to just skip first period but it turned into an all day thing. I'm glad I did skip school though because we got FUCKED up. By the end of school, between three people, we had about 6 bowls, 3 blunts, and a 40 oz bottle of beer. So yeah...Today was very lovely. :D

I've been so high i stopped 1 block short of a red light and just sat there til it turned green, then I couldn't figure out why it was taking so long to get into the intersection to turn...I was fucking blazed. I if I'm pretty lit and have to sit at a stop sign for a minute waiting on cars, by the time it's clear I usually zone out and sit there waiting forgetting its a stop sign, not a stay sign.

That friend would be me. and yes i am a VERY focused driver when stoned, I find it a lot of fun as well and i always yell and scream because of how much fun im having haha. 2002 nissan maxima with 255 hp, so its quite pleasurable to drive, even sober, got it at a steal for just over 12 grand.

just for the record, i hit a PERSON while blazed backing out of my community college parking lot. some mexican lady and like you said, it was just a tap, enough for her to get the fuck out of the way no doubt.

Most stoned drivers do infact drive better than sober drivers. They are more paranoid about being caught, so hardly ever speed, or drive irraticaly.

They also concentrate more on the road and the things around them.

I drive stoned, but not on long trips.

its makes u more observant straight up . It does depend on the person though, a dumb person ,whether they are high or not could cause an accident. And us smart people need to defend outselves from those people , weed helps me observe things faster. Oh yeah, the interstate is a must ,lol.

This week my friend didnt smoke because he had to to lots of AP work at school. We smoke all the time, and mostly in his car while hes driving. But he totaled his car two days ago. If he stayed and smoked that bowl with us, he might still have his car.
