Anyway, all of my friends are great people, we held many an informal cannabis cup, at many a location, and compared genetics, and enjoyed each other's stories and differences.

There was once a site called "Laughing Moon", and that was where we held the last meetings that I was privy too.

Hey This is IMGC if any of the old 77 crew is still around NL420, Josie, Mr Soul, NCGA, eeric 77, Danbo, Greenbear, OT, so many names escape me so my long term memory is catching up with my short term memory, was one of the founders of that org seems like a lifetime ago.

Sub and I go way back to his GA days, NL420 and I took a road trip down by him like 14 years ago, then again when he was in FL then he came up by me for the midwest 77 meet around 2002. looks like he is doing well for himself. I emailed him thanks.

From the times I was by his house I can tell you the smell would hit you upon exiting your vehicle, there was no hiding what was going on there. I mean it smelled nice but all of us at that first meet, me, NL420, Aeric 77, Shabang and his girl friend, Jose were all alitle more than concerned, those were the days when all growers were stricken with fear of being caught. All those guys moved to safer locals years ago.
I got sick of people complaining about availability of seeds so Mr Soul and I started shipping seeds to anyone who wanted them for free. The rules were no complaints no crap just take them shut and go away.
Many of the early members of the 77 went on to be very sucsessful in the gentecs business, not me though, I had a very good job and did not want to risk loosing everything. Since I traveld a lot for biz I was the primary guy who did the F2F for folks to get in to the 77.
NL420 was the web master and guy who started OG. Local guy and good friend he moved to his wifes homeland. Aeric went to jail, Bang chose the life in the GWN, Jose went west to work with NCGA, little by little the secret site changed and the newer members did not share the founding memebers vision. and it all fell a part. But some amazing strains come out of that crew, alng with some very good friendships.
How did you know about the 77?

Well, I didn't really know about that, but all I can say is that I've tried to remember some of the names from OG. So since we have the web these days, decided to just search the names as many people will keep the same name for stage and screen. One day I remember something about a guy named Subcool and decided to go looking, sure enough, he's still out there doing his thing. So you knew Shabang too? Man, you are connected! Pretty cool. Remember Highgrade getting pinched? He's still out there too.
