Just a quick question,
How many cubic feet of C02 is contained in a 50lb bottle?

I dont know about square feet but your level that you want
is between 500 and 700 ppm in your grow room.

First you not your plant, safety is first and you have no regulation. Which should be about 1500 ppm to maximize the co2 along with higher temps, so the plant will suck it up.
DEATH OF CO2 , if you do not know what your putting and have a leak, you have a death trap.
Rule never chase a dead man, alway vent the room before going in.
C20 falls like a rock so you must move air upwards.
The reason people pay $1200 for a controler is its worth it.

You can figure it out there.

Oldsanclem is correct. You are looking to ad about 1500 ppm and there is about 300 ppm in the ambient air so that will give you a total of 1800 ppm.

The idea is to raise the level and hold it at that level for many hours so the plant has time to absorbe the extra amount. You will need to rase the temperature to above 85f but not above 95f for the plant to absorbe it easy and get the most out of your inventment.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Was just trying to figure out how long a 50lb bottle would last in a given area at 1500ppm?
Have used co2 before, its hard to figure the amount of a bottle when you are injecting for 46 seconds, everytime the area comes up to temp, the fan kicks on and off, and then it injects. The whole time you are not there to count the cycles.
I have opened my room up now.
Instead of running a 4x8 pod and a 3x6 pod separetly(on the bottle). im just going to enrich the whole room
WHich is 10.58' X 11.25' X 6.5' high
Would appreciate input on my calculations and method of enrichment tho!
room is 773.6625 sq. ft. , Im going to call it 775s'
I bought a new generator (CAP1 , GEN1 4 burners)which puts out 13.2 cu' of co2 an hour.
1500ppm is the normal enrichment setting ,but im going to base my figures on 1200ppm to be safe, becuase of the area of the 2 res's,a/c unit, trays, ect.
Also becuase of the residual co2 left in the room after venting, and the 300ppm? that should be in the fresh air brought in.

So for this room of 775s' @ 1200ppm , from a 13.2c' unit ,I would need to run it for 4.2272 minutes, or roughly 4m 14s

I plain on running a digital timmer for the vent fan(465cfm squirrel cage)for 10 minutes,every 4 hours.
And then another digital timmer(sencronized with the first)to trigger my cycle timer w/ photosensor, to fire the generator up(for 4m14s) a minute or so after the vent fan shuts down.

The room is temp controlled by a 10k btu a/c unit ,on enviro controls and a 50 pint dehumidifier.Room is completely seal expect for a 465cfm outlet and a 265 inlet fan.
Ofcourse my 2 1000w and 3 400w lights are cooled by a 8" highoutput CanFan, which pulls air from outside the room and vents it thru the attic. The 8" cooling fan should also remove the extra co2 enriched air that is exhuasted from the grow area, right by the 8" inlet.

Sorry for the long post, but I tend to do this anytime a make a major change, to insure that i dont forget anything. And to get feedback from those of you that are experienced in these things.

All feed back appreciated.
Thanks,Peace to all your little green ones!:)
