So I've selected my favorite shiva skunk out of the 8 females that I originally had started from seed. This one is the more sativa pheno out of the group, but it does have a decent amount of lateral branching probably due to the northern lights #5 parent. About how high up should I remove the branching to maximize yield. Should I take everything that isn't going to make the top cola..... or is that going to decrease the total yield?

ya it can, dont chop any of the branches unless its covering up a budsite.. naturally those lower leaves will fall off one their own
depends on plant/space. sog is simply many plants (usually clones of same size and strain) scrunched together to get yields from the tops. are you saying you picked one plant for this? is that to be the mother plant for making clones to make the sea of green?

Yes exactly...... I selected my favorite shiva skunk and have that as a mother, Im just wondering if it is more efficient to scrunch them together and remove all the side branches or if it would be more effective to give them some more room between the plants and only remove the lower half of the side shoots
