Ok, I've learned everything I probably should learn about cloning and now, I need to know one thing. How do I know where I should make the cuttings on the plants and how old do they usually have to be for me to make them? I've seen where some one makes cuttings at but I'm still a little confused about the whole thing.

I read this and was still confused a while back. As you can see I'm a very particular and very descriptive-needed but nvm, I think I'll manage :p.

I hear the genetics are better nearer the top of the plant than the bottom. Take a good branch that would flower, usually you have the first set of leaves (that you can cut in half) and then the flowering leaf at the top...

Hope it helps, confuses me too :s

no, leave the top alone. the best places to take cuttings are from the lower branches where the 'bark' isn't as woody. the softest branches are always the best choice for clones.

I really know how to get a clone and where to get it (on the plant) but I am confused on what I'm looking for, like the actual clone cutting (...strange huh? :p). So basically I can just cut any old branch? Even if it has a giant fan leaf? Any branch is good? Sorry it just confuses me :/, hope this doesnt make me seem like a noob :p.
