why do we need electronic voting machines? yeah, it's the 21st century and everything's computerized, but why, really?

what's wrong with the old fashioned way. you can still fix elections, but it's much harder and much less centralized, which is always good.

These stories about Muslims trying to blow up the Sears Tower, and the Holland Tunnel which I was in actually 2 weeks ago are propagated stories by the government trying to get the people to believe that the Patriot Act is protecting us from "terrorists". Oh the Patriot Act is doing its job alright...taking away our freedom in the name of security!

For the next corporate...I mean terrorist attack, I am thinking his agents will use some kind of a suitcase dirty bomb in a major or semi-major metropolitan area.

I would refuse to use any electronic voting system in 2008. Elections are too damn important to have electronic voting.

Uh... you guys actually think your votes count? (when it comes to the presidential election anyways) Our Votes don't count for 2 fucks allright. I don't know if you remembered from 5th grade social studies class but uh, It's the Electoral College's job to pick who's president. And in case you don't remember Bush lost the popular vote -the one that all the u.s. citizens votes are tallied and counted- Basically we vote so CNN and FOX can go "oh.. ok, good to know what the people think, but let's see what the electoral college has to say"
and whatever they say, goes. We need to reform that immedietly.
