Alright so it's my girlfriend of 2 years 18th birthday today...sooo we make a trip to the local headshop since she's never been inside it. I bumped into my dealer believe it or not because HIS girlfriend's 18th birthday was today too! Weird, but anyway... he tells me what turns out to be that law enforcement officials have blocked off our entire country and started a 72 hour SWEEP of the county. Investigations for months that led to secret indictments are being served throughout the county. This is our local law enforcement trying to "rid the community" of dealers and what not. 30+ indictments were served yesterday and the BIGGEST dealer in town was arrested as well, he was on the front page of our newspaper today!! Im glad I got out of selling when I did...but now I'm worried about my girls outside :( LEO is cleaning out the county, but I sure hope they leave me alone. There are not supposed to be as many indictments served and arrests made today, but still...30+ felony drug charges being issued in one day is nuts!!! They even have some stupid Operation name for it but I can't remember it!! Only about a day and a half left of OPERATION BULLSHIT...if I post after that time frame, I made it without being served :o If you never hear from me again, pray for me...for my asshole's sake

that happend around here not too long ago, the DEA was in town and getting all the big dealers out, 2 of them got arrested and are in jail (one of them was on the front page of the paper aswell). meh, that just means when its over someone new will become the big dealer.

indeed, in my youth they cleaned out 6 dealers that i knew of in one sweep. the prices skyrocketted for a couple of months, then it was business as usual. for when theirs a demand, someone will always supply. FUCK THE POWER!

Something like that used to happen when I lived in New Jersey. Monmouth County had a 'taskforce' we called the 'jump-out boys' because they'd roll around in beatup conversion and minivans and bust buyers and sellers. After a while, if you watched the parallel streets, you knew where they were coming from and where they were going. While they did do some serving of warrants, most of it was 'on the spot' type shit.
