America is NOT a police state...
Although I didn't watch the youtube video you linked up, I just thought I should say that.
:smokin:
And even if it IS...what's so bad about a police state? If you have a job, money, money to buy an internet connection, money to smoke weed, food, and housing how can you say that a police state is bad to live in?
Just a thought...:stoned:

Give it up Binzhou. Until these folks live in a country where you have to bribe your local police officer just to be able to live in the same building as your wife, or until they have to carry their marriage certificate with them when they travel or else they can't share a hotel room with their wife, they won't know what a police state really is.

Hey Great Spirit
HAHAHAHA!!!! I was just browsing and I found this thread again!
Great picture of Elmo, Fengzi. :smokin:
And you are right about no one understanding until they live in a country where you need to bribe the local police officer to get your visa worked out...:smokin:
I feel like it's better to keep your mouth shut if you don't know what you are talking about. Once again, America is NOT a police state. Try traveling around a bit and see for yourself what a police state is.

Very true. All of my visas except one are obtained through "alternative" routes.
And staying in hotels is always fun...:smokin:
Or when you move into an apartment and on the second day, usually early in the morning, the police come knock on your door because your neighbor called them because you are a laowai. :D

right...this, for example, doesn't resemble a police state at all...this is the new freedom, and this was at least 15 years ago from what i remember...
but save yourself the time and don't bother watching it.

What really happens during a pro-life rescue? Watch actual footage of pro-life arrests and decide for yourself who is "violent." If pro-lifers civil rights to non-violent protest are being trampled, how safe are the beliefs of the rest of us? This video shows the brutal answers to questions of freedom to protest.
