Hello, this is my first post, and I hope you can help me.

I have a few friends that I used to buy stuff from (not any time recently though). But I have been known to visit their house quite a bit. Well a few weeks ago I noticed that they had a large plant sitting next to their bathroom window. I thought that was rather stupid of them, even though someone would have to be up on a ladder to see it.

Well guess what--the state police got an anonymous tip that they had a plant in the bathroom, and they raided their house. They confiscated a bunch of grow lights, plants, etc. My friends aren't sure who called (I hope they don't even suspect me, because that would be stupid on my part).

My question is twofold:

1) Should I be worried or paranoid that the cops are watching me? After all, I've been at their house a lot, and I'm sure they have my license plate number.

2) They want my friend to set up a sting operation, or face charges himself. I personally think he should just get a lawyer and face the music. What do you guys think?

Thanks guys. I know there are a lot of people whose dealers (or former dealers) have been busted, but this is a first for me.

do not, i repeat, do not let him go along with the sting, half the time it doesnt really help him out and better then a a good lawyer would help you out, also, they probably are watching you, just start studying your rights and be careful, all will be fine if you use your rights to your advantage, sounds like he didnt

Don't associate with your busted friends for a while, especially if he tells you the option about stinging someone. When people face that much time, you never know what they are thinking......

If you are growing too, watch it. If you just have a little weed, don't worry about it.

I don't know for sure since your words are bias, but it doesn't sound right. A tip doesn't automatically give them the right to search the house.

The snitch three and go free program dont work. Your friend will get labeled a snitch and god help him if he goes to the joint. He will be lucky to get out alive. Dont worry about the popos, if you aint selling. If you are selling, stop right now and get rid of everything. They dont really care about users, hell most of them blaze too.

Tell him dont do or say anything w/o a lawyer or the cops will have a field day with him.
I couldnt imagine they would get so crazy over one plant and a couple of lights. I guess it depends where you are, here in SOFLA I dont think the cops would put the effort into such a small operation.

Well I found out more info. Evidentally my friend got himself mixed up with some big time crack dealers. No wonder the state cops were watching him! I'm just staying away and laying low for now. I don't grow or sell, so I highly doubt the cops are after me in any way. I'm not calling or going to their house any time soon, just to be safe though. Damn shame--they've been good friends for years.

I wouldn't be going back either.

Shame he got messed up with a major dealer.
