Burnt on top?

I was just wondering, what do you all do when you're smoking a bowl and it doesnt cherry and there's tons of burnt shit on top, making every hit taste like shit? do you try and get it off (with a poker/your finger or w/e) or do you just burn through it until it turns white?

sometimes I dump the bowl out in my hand and use a lighter to get all the black shit off, then put the green parts back in.. It makes my hand dirty but I get high, so in the end I don't care... Plus like 80% of it just wipes off on pants or something..

Well I pack my bowls really, REALLY tight, so on the rare occasion I am offered a pipe to smoke out of, I just blow the ash off the top. None of the bud goes flying either because its so well packed.

usually it doesn't cherry cuz either the weed is too wet or the pipe is clogged, if its clogged i just empty it out and clear the pipe and put the semi-burnt bowl back on and smoke it, i dont really care how it tastes, it doesn't really taste that bad.

Light breath ash will fly.

If you take a light breath and exhale slowly across the top of the bowl, generally the ash will go flying out of the bowl and the bud will stay in. That is what I do.

just pack it tight and lightly blow and the ash will fly and the green will stay
